Next to the Tuileries Summer Fair. The kids grumpily posed for pictures as we inched our way towards the fair. It was near noon but the fair was relatively empty still so it was quite nice to enjoy the rides and games without a queue.
Our first ride was the Ferris wheel. Seth my 10 year old son is afraid of heights and the rides was particularly scary for him. But the rest of us enjoyed it tremendously especially since it gave us a spectacular view of Paris. Another plus going early is that the rides tends to be longer so you really get your money's worth ..... unfortunately for Seth however.
We spend hours there, there was a trampoline site that was just heaven for my youngest as he happily bounce on it close to 20 minutes for just 2 Euros. Many rides for his age group as well as my 2 older boys so everyone was happy and occupied. My older children is obsessed with guns at the moment so it was particularly thrilling for them that the games prizes includes a lot of real looking guns.
Many many Euros later I finally manage to drag everyone away for my next destination lunch at the famous Rue Cler. It was at 2pm when we finally reach this famous Parisian street so it was quite empty and underwhelming I must say. We had lunch ...... Chinese (I know!!??) and walk the streets towards the Invalides but by this time my kids were just exhausted.
Rue Cler
Les Invalides
Took the Metro back where we stop at Champ Elysees to watch a street performance and at Arc De Triomphe to take a few pictures. We climb up the stairs to the top last time we were here and there was no way my 3 boys could make the climb.
We rested till dinner time to meet up with old friends who resides here Eileen and Benoit Laverne at Chez Clement, a kids friendly restaurant at Champ Elysees.
