Summer Holiday 09 - Leisurely Day

Day 4 - London (Mon. 13 Jul)

My husband was feeling better today so we head back to the Natural History Museum to see their dinosaurs collection which is my 2nd son Anson favorite topic. We were there 15 minutes early and the Queue was already so long. It was free entry and the backup to these museums are usual caused by the bag checks at all entry points.

We went to their amphibian and mammals department after that where a huge whale model that is prominently displayed in that section.

After having lunch at the cafe we my husband Peter and our eldest son went back to the science museum to ride all the stimulator rides while I took the two younger ones to the Victoria and Albert Museum just beside the Natural History Museum. It was one of those places that I had missed during my last 2 visits.

I know I would have enjoyed this charming museum more if i had not have 2 very bored boys by my side, but since I did not have such luxury I did the best I could covering only the ground floor before I went to this charming garden in the middle of this building with a wading pool in the middle perfect place to hang out and cool off during the summer months.
I bought the boys ice cream and let them wade thruough the water for a bit. after about an hour I head of to the gift shop and bought 2 pretty brooches for myself.

We rest and packed later in the afternoon for our trip to Paris the next day and head out to Harrods again to get dinner. My kids just love the prawn dumpling which cost me a pound and 85 pence for one so I got 10 for 18 pounds 50 which comes out to about 235 Hong Kong dollar for 10 dumplings SIGH!
