Farewell Hong Kong

We bid adieu to Hong Kong our home for the last 3 years in July 2010. I had enjoyed living in Hong Kong but I was ready for a change, although it pains me to see how upsetting my boys particularly my eldest Seth find this move to be.

For a small country Hong Kong had proven to be a great place to live......I think my only complain is the small living areas.....and how expensive it is per sq. feet here other than that I truly love the efficiency, the cleanliness and all that it has to offer. We lived at the Waterfront , its situated on top of the Kowloon Station and Elements Mall so it was super convenient for us. Everything from the supermarket, bookstore, clinic, cinema is just 5 minutes away. What a luxury!
This is the reason my boys loves Hong Kong. Jay and Janice Lee, our neigbour and fellow students from Yew Chung International School.

This is the reason why I love our stay in Hong Kong hahaha Lita our helper from the Philippines. She is so efficient and hard working I barely need to lift a finger. She was particularly attentive to my youngest boy Noah. She was with us from day 1 in Hong Kong and it was a blessing Indeed! Plus the shopping is great hahaha A good mix is available here!
This is Carter the kids Putonghua tutor from mainland China, so Patience with my naughty boys..... How they kept going to the bathroom and to the kitchen when its time to study. My youngest would argue with him and teach him the english words back to him.

On one of our hikes to a reservoir in Hong Kong Island ....I love that Hong Kong facilitates children friendly hiking areas all over the Island and Its surrounding areas. It is fantastic to keep healthy and fit! One of our favourite places to hike is Lamma Island after a good 1 and a half hour hike

Goodbye Hong Kong! The boys still talk about you often.....they still consider you home!
